Singapore's First Private Cord Blood Bank
StemCord is Singapore's first autologous, private cord blood bank to be licensed by the Ministry of Health. Since 6 March 2002, the day it began its operations, StemCord has been offering everyone an added biological insurance for future generations.
Highest Standards of Quality Control
Using the criteria set by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), StemCord adopts the highest standard of quality control in protecting the viability of the stem cells for more than 15,000 newborns in Singapore and the region. In addition, StemCord is also working towards acquiring accreditation with the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).
Largest, Most Established and Trusted Operations
Within its first year of operations, StemCord collected 800 samples. Today, with over 15,000 cord blood samples processed and stored at our own dedicated laboratories and storage facilities, StemCord stands as the largest, most established private cord blood bank in Singapore.
