StemCord is founded by renowned medical practitioners with the mission of bringing hope for the future. Since its beginnings, it has remained true to its vision of:

Singapore's First Private Cord Blood Bank
StemCord is Singapore's first autologous, private cord blood bank to be licensed by the Ministry of Health. Since 6 March 2002, the day it began its operations, StemCord has been offering everyone an added biological insurance for future generations.
Highest Standards of Quality Control
StemCord adopts the highest standard of quality control in protecting the viability of the stem cells for more than 25,000 newborns in Singapore and the region. StemCord is the first cord blood bank in Southeast Asia and the only cord blood bank in Singapore accredited by FACT-NetCord (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy and NetCord).
FACT-NetCord is the only accrediting organisation that addresses all quality aspects of cord blood collection, processing, testing, banking, selection and release.
One of the Largest, Most Established and Trusted Operations
Within its first year of operations, StemCord collected 800 samples. Today, with over 25,000 cord blood samples processed and stored at our own dedicated laboratories and storage facilities, StemCord stands as one of the largest and most established private cord blood bank in Singapore.
